McNickel on Santorum

Colin McNickel sticks a fork in Rick Santorum's corpse and declares the race over. Bobby Casey wins. It's not just that the polls are bad, it's that they show that a lot of voters would choose anyone over Santorum. That includes not just the usual lefty loons, but also many, many disillusioned Republicans who see Rick as an unprincipled opportunist.

The Republican Party in Pennsylvania is not just falling apart, it has already dissolved into warring factions, and all the King's horses and all the King's men won't put Humpty together again, at least not in time for this year's elections.
